Tickets For Islands’ Tour Going Up On Sale Tomorrow | Music News

Islands 04.08.2016ANDREW

Back on Friday, May 13, indie rock band, Islands, released not one, but two, albums, in Taste and Should I Remain Here, At Sea? Now, though, they are set for a sizeable tour. This tour will be all over Stateside. These dates will see them team up with Alex Cameron and Steady Holiday.

They go into the touring process with much critical acclaim for their, yes plural, efforts. Double albums, or two albums released not too far apart, or on the same day, usually, it seems, garner mixed reviews both from the listening public and the music press. For many, they could be condensed to a single effort. Tour dates below to see what all the fuss is about:

I've always wanted to be involved in the media since before I even left school; to write for a living.I feel most eloquent when mapping out my thoughts on paper or on a computer screen.I studied media at college for two years, and went straight into third year at university studying publishing with journalism. After a range of work experience, I did a magazine journalism course in Bournemouth, a long way away from my hometown of Aberdeen, achieving my NCTJ qualifications. Now I spend my time gladly writing about music.
