The Tin Pigeons Release New Track ‘Wild’ | Music News
The Tin Pigeons have a whole host of festival appearances including Boardmasters and Secret Garden Party under their belt from 2016 with more set for this coming season, but the East Midlands band released their newest record “Wild” on Sunday 18th June.
The four-piece combine an eclectic mix of genres from indie, folk and a dusting of pop. “Wild” is a funky guitar driven track with a touch of Banjo adding that little USP. It moulds together the folk elements with the indie whilst still keeping an overall upbeat and earthy feel.
The whole track is groovy, fun and a real crowd pleaser with the catchy fast-paced chorus perfect for those crazy summer nights with a beer in hand and grass beneath your feet. Check it out here:
They will be supporting Calypso-pop trio Cassia on the 18th August at Thousand Island. Cassia have just received BBC Radio 1 Track of the week from the 30th June so alongside The Tin Pigeons BBC introducing plays in the East Midlands, it will be a gig not to miss! You can grab your tickets here.
You can also except to see The Tin Pigeons taking to the stage on the following dates:
El Dorado on Friday 30th June on The Main Stage.
Standon Calling on Friday 28th July on The Main Stage.
