Tom Misch + De La Soul – It Runs Through Me | Music Video

South London super talent Tom Misch has proudly shared the brand new video for his hit song “It Runs Through Me” featuring De La Soul, the latest track from the incredible Geography to get the video treatment, following “Water Baby” with Loyle Carner.

The video, directed by Joshua Osborne, features some of Tom’s favourite musicians including Pos from De Las Soul, Yussef Dayes on drums, and a cameo from Reuben James who played the keys on the original version of the song. A mostly performative piece, it nods to nostalgia as it is aesthetically very 70’s, from the equipment in the studio to the overall decor even to the fashion sense of those featured.

In Tom’s own words: “I’ve recently been listening to a lot of funk and soul from the 70s and 80s… but I also love the aesthetics of this era and wanted to incorporate it into this video.”

It’s been a breakthrough year for the young artist/producer. His debut album, Geography, nestled itself neatly into the UK top 10 on release earlier this year, and following a series of sold-out global tours, he hits the road again across the UK in November, taking into two huge nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton which are now sold out.
