‘Top Gear’ Has Further Ratings Woe As Ratings Slide Further | TV News
What it lacked made it shine even more. Chris Evans third episode hosting the new revived Top Gear may have drawn the best critical response, however you would not have seen that in the show’s ratings, shedding 400,000 viewers to just 2.4 million.
The number is set to increase with the on-demand and catch up ratings but the sense of denial around the series is palpable and despite the good feedback on Twitter it was not enough to halt the ratings slide for the second week in a row.
Overnight ratings still show the health of a show, and in terms of Top Gear, I would probably be booking myself into hospital.
