Tory Lanez – Shooters | Music Video

Toronto rapper Tory Lanez has unveiled the new music video for one of his latest single “Shooters”. Lanez has been dropping singles the last couple of weeks, and he has also recently teamed up with American rapper Future to release the single “Real Thing”. The rapper even revealed the title for his upcoming album Memories Don´t Die a week ago.

Before the video starts, Lanez made a short intro for the purpose of the music video, with the below caption.

“I made this intro because I felt that this was art that I needed to get off my chest as a result of the things many people have seen or experienced daily. I do not endorse any form of brutality. I do not feel like violence is the answer.

However, in times of duress like we´re experiencing now, as a community, I believe that it is our responsibility to share our fears and concerns so that we may learn to support one another better. I hope that this video makes you feel something – no matter what it is that you feel, as always – I am grateful to all of those who support me or for anyone who gave me the opportunity to express myself”.

“Shooters” starts intense with shooting episodes between Tory Lanez and the police officers. He says in the beginning of the video, “Whether they shoot us, or we shoot them. Nobody wins in the end”. Through what he said in his intro, it is very clear that the Canadian rapper also want to make a political statement of what has been going on lately with the shootings in the states through this music video.
