U2 Announce ‘iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE’ UK Tour | Music News

U2 have announced a brief UK tour for October and November 2015, including a four night residency at London’s O2 Arena. The legends will be swapping their usual venues of stadiums for a slightly more intimate setting of arenas, taking in venues in both London and Glasgow to support their latest release Songs Of Innocence. The group had previously teased talks of two different type of arena shows and with the tour name, as well as shows being divided in pairs, it definitely seems feasible.

Adam Clayton, the band’s bassist had said to Rolling Stone magazine in October: “One night would be a kind of loud, explosive rock’n’roll kind of event and then the other night’s show take the acoustic arrangements of some of the songs, and kind of present those songs in a much more intimate way. But we don’t really know how that’s going to sound and look”. Unsurprisingly, the U2 tour tickets are vastly priced from £35 to £165 as well as the additional VIP Packages. Tickets go on sale Monday December 8, at 9am from here, with full dates listed below.

Sunday 25th October 2015 – The O2, London
