Underground Sound Of Lisbon To Headline ‘Rock In Rio’ – Sunday, June 1 | Events
Legends of the House scene Rui Da Silva and DJ Vibe aka Underground Sound of Lisbon are reforming after 13 years to headline the 10th anniversary of Rock In Rio in their home city of Lisbon, Portugal on June the 1st. There will also be an exclusive never before seen debut live AV spectacular, which the pair will then be taking across the globe after their headline performance at Rock In Rio.
Rui Da Silva and DJ Vibe joined forces to create electronic duo Underground Sound Of Lisbon after founding the legendary dance label, Kaos Records that propelled the creation of the underground dance scene in Portugal throughout the 90’s. After the success of the label, they went on to release records through Kaos worldwide, with infamous tribal sound and progressive hits such as “So Get Up” and “Dance With Me”, both astonishing die hard tribe anthems which went on to receive huge amounts of club plays across Europe and America.
After a long career of success as the electronic duo, and after the release of their final album, Etnocity, both members decided to take on solo projects and separate paths which led them on to receive a wide range of success and highly acclaimed achievements in different ways. But now after 13 years of long awaited anticipation, the pair are once again reforming and are doing so in style, as they will be joining the likes of Lorde, Justin Timberlake, Jessie J and many many more at Rock In Rio, and after that they will be taking on the globe.
