Vic Mensa – We Could Be Free | Music Video

Earlier this year, American-Ghanaian rapper Vic Mensa unveiled his debut studio album entitled The Autobiography. Now the Chicago artist is out with a brand new lyric video for one of the singles from the LP “We Could Be Free” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

Mensa explains the where the creation of the lyric video comes from, and its purpose in terms of our world situation.

I wanted to make a video to show solidarity with people struggling against oppression all over the world. I took scenes from the military occupation of a village I visited in Palestine and juxtaposed them with racial violence in America to show how similar our struggles are and imagine a world without division.
