Drunk, disorderly, but laughing? The third reason is one given by a Vue cinema in Islington, who asked a grandma and a great-grandma to leave a screening of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie for laughing too loudly.

As reported by The Mirror, Cindy Amass and Jacqueline Cox have said they were asked to leave the cinema by the manager following complaints from other customers. Whilst Vue Staff have refused to comment, a spokesman for the cinema chain commented:

“We love seeing our customers enjoy their big-screen experience at Vue, however, in this instance we had a number of complaints about some customers talking too loudly … We would never ask our customers to leave for laughing”.
