Riding on the success of the series 13 Reasons Why, Dylan Minette leads band members Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston in their newly released music video for their single “Pictures Of Girls“.
The band, who just debuted their EP Spring in April, is fast climbing the chart by scoring a number 40 position on Billboard Alternative Songs chart.
Off to a good start, Wallows has unveiled the visuals for the energetic “Pictures of Girls”, which they debuted on The Late Late Show with James Corden back in May.
The song is a rock cut that benefits from Minette and Lemasters guitar’s exchanges, folded up diligently by Preston’s strokes. Minette’s mature vocals is what gives the track its purpose and characteristic sound.
Sketches of the trio wandering around the street of Los Angeles alternates with what tries to come off as slightly pretentious home-video footage of the band singing directly to the camera.
All of this layered by a retro camera filter that create a very 90s’ vibes that mirrors the atmosphere that the same songs is aiming to catch.
