Warner Bros. Unveils New Clip For Horror Flick ‘The Gallows’ | Film News

A new clip has been released online for Travis Cluff and Chris Lofing‘s intense horror The Gallows, courtesy of Warner Bros. 10 days before the films’ cinematic release. The clip features the main character Cassidy, played by Cassidy Gifford, in mid-shot, clearly terrified and sobbing – a style that is typical of the films’ footage that we have already had access to via trailers. The end of the clip draws attention to the media buzz around the film with the title ‘#dontsayhisname’ in reference to Charlie, the name of the deceased lead actor from the play, twenty years ago.

The official synopsis for The Gallows is as follows: “Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honour the anniversary of the tragedy—but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone“. The Gallows is set for a July 17 release. You can watch the clip below.
