Now we all remember the lift incident, with the world’s most famous couple and sister, how could we forget? Now, Beyoncé’s dad, Matthew Carter, has claimed that the fight was staged! Matthew used to manage Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child and has said that the fight could have been orchestrated to boost sales for Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On The Run tour.
He was talking on The Roula & Ryan radio show in Houston and described it as a Jedi Mind trick, further explaining “I know, because we’ve done this. From experience there’s a tour going on. So you sometimes have to ignite that tour. Its called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot”. He then added “Everyone’s talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange’s album sales went up 200 percent”.
Who would have thought the biggest acts in the world need to embarrass themselves by acting out a fight to sell tickets? Or is this a jealous claim from Beyoncé’s father as he is no longer involved with managing her?! I don’t think we will ever find out the truth behind why the fight really happened.
