Summit Entertainment has released the brand new, action packed trailer for the second film in the The Divergent Series, Insurgent. Starring Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort and Theo James, The Divergent Series: Insurgent throws audiences back into Tris Prior’s world of conflict and bravery in the adaptation of Veronica Roth‘s science fiction novels.
Despite there being no solid plot details in the new trailer, there is so much action and visual splendor that it’s hard to care. We see Tris busting through glass, jumping from impossible heights and generally kicking ass in the new fast paced trailer and we’re pleased to watch another strong female character taking names in an action setting. With a stiff Kate Winslet taking the role of baddie, the new trailer will no doubt excite current fans and intrigue new ones. Take a look for yourself!
