Have you ever wondered what your beloved pet gets up to whilst you’re out with friends, or doing the grocery shopping? Well now you can find out. The first teaser trailer has been released for Illumination Entertainment’s upcoming computer animated animal comedy, The Secret Life of Pets. The teaser introduces us to a squirrel-enthusiast pug named Mel, a heavy-metal loving poodle named Leonard, an adventure-crazed budgie named Sweetpea, and a greedy blue cat named Chloe, amongst others.
A geniusly simple idea, created in the most comic way. We watch as these animals interact with each other and their surroundings, void of human eyes to judge their actions. Directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney and starring Louis C.K, Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart, The Secret Life of Pets is set for a Summer 2016 release with Universal Pictures.
