London’s hotly tipped new duo We Are Shining have unveiled another cosmic production entitled “Breaks” which premiered with Benji B on BBC 1Xtra last week and features the mesmerizing vocals of Andrea Balency, and if you are wondering what makes the song so edgy, fresh and plain brilliant, then its because it was co-written by FKA Twigs. This new track follows the release of their impeccably produced single “Hot Love” which is due to be released on September 8.
“Breaks” is what I would call a genre defying track as I am struggling to pin point what style it fits under, other than it being an insight into the multiple layers that depict the duo’s sound and their delicate and highly intricate production skills that are undeniably evident. I think it is safe to say that We Are Shining are BREAKING any moulds and are creating their own sound which can only be described as a masterpiece. Check out the infectious new track below.
