Yellowcard Announce Impending Split | Music News
Pop punk veterans Yellowcard have announced their intentions to end their almost twenty year existence as a band at the end of this year. In a post on their website the band state “The decision was an incredibly difficult one to make. We considered so many things – our families, our health, our future endeavors. In the end we realized that this was the right time to step away and preserve the legacy and integrity of the band”.
This news coincides with the announcement of the group’s final album, aptly a self-titled record, slated for release September 30, with the first single titled “Rest In Peace” debuting today. The band will also sign off with a world tour, culminating with some select UK dates.
