As we saw last year with Josh Tranks disastrous attempt to reboot the Fantastic Four, a comic book movie has the ability to either make or break a director’s career, so when Zack Snyder signed on to direct the first faze of DC’s cinematic universe (Man Of Steel), he not only bore the weight of what is potentially a future billion dollar franchise but possible his own along with it.

But that doesn’t seem to be much of a concern for the (300) director as he’s already planning his next project after his DC contract is up. So what’s next, a concluding chapter to his beloved 300 trilogy, a return to the Watchmen universe or something more ambitious.

Speaking to Bloomberg Business, Synder was asked about what other films he would like to make, and he said he wants to make a movie about George Washington in the style of 300. Sounds intriguing, let’s just hope for Snyder’s sake his version of the founding father doesn’t involve a slave and a very deep well.
