21 Savage + Post Malone – All My Friends | New Music

21 Savage has teamed up with Post Malone on song “All My Friends” from his new album i am > i was, though it isn’t the first time they’d joined forces for music.

Back in 2017 they released “Rockstar” which reached number 1 on the Billboard top 100, so there is no doubt this song will also excel.

The song explores a theme of friend loss, and how both artists have found that a lot of the time during their fame they have run into their fair share of fake friends, with lines like “I don’t need no friends if you really wanna know the truth // I lost all my friends countin’ bands in the Bentley coupe” (Post Malone), and “Lost a few friends chasin’ hand money (On God) // Had the same friends when I was bummy (Straight up)” (21 Savage).

In this line, “Lost a couple friends, I ain’t even really mad though (On God) // I ain’t even really mad though (21)”, he references the loss of his friend who died in a shooting on 21 Savage’s 21st Birthday, where the rapper himself was shot 6 times, but luckily survived.
