Pop queen Taylor Swift is releasing her new album Lover this Friday and the artist has already sold almost a million copies through pre-release sales. Now, Swift has partnered with giant streaming platform Spotify to unveil exclusive content related to the album.
Following the success of her previous album Reputation, which is the last album in the US to sell a million copies during its first week, it looks like Swift is going to defeat her own record now. “The anticipation of this album is extraordinary, with pre-sales quickly approaching one million copies globally,” confirmed Monte Lipman, founder of Taylor Swift’s record label Republic Records.
However, success doesn’t come for free and Taylor is the proof of it. Her constant work, effort and self-improvement are key to her achievements. Now, she is doing it again. Swift has teamed up with Spotify to drop special content tied to her upcoming album in a very creative, original way.
‘Love, Taylor: Lover Enhanced Album’ is the name of the playlist and different types of content will be released every day until the album comes out. Audio messages with never before heard lyrics from songs of Lover and hints about the locations where you will be able to find “love letters” the artist has been writing and hiding.
The playlist also contains a special welcoming video, the four songs of the album she has already revealed, a handwritten note and some of the artist favourite romantic songs. Check out Taylor’s playlist below:
