‘A Private War’: Jeremie Laheurte Joins Rosamund Pike And Jamie Dornan | Film News
Blue Is the Warmest Colour star Jeremie Laheurte is joining Rosamund Pike and Jamie Dornan in A Private War. From director Matthew Heineman (Cartel Land), the film is a biopic of famed war correspondent Marie Colvin.
Laheurte will portray French war photographer Remi Ochlik, who was killed in February 2012 alongside the Sunday Times journalist, who will be played by Pike. Ochlik covered many major global conflicts, spreading his skills from Haiti to Libya.
Arash Amel wrote the script based on a Vanity Fair article on Colvin’s accomplished, yet, dramatic, life as a reporter. The film is being produced by Basil Iwanyk and Charlize Theron under Thunder Road Pictures and Denver & Delilah banners, respectively.
Production is planned for an October start in the UK and Middle East.
