Action Bronson Sued Over Uncleared Salsa Samples | Music News

 

Queens rapper Action Bronson is being sued for allegedly sampling two El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico songs without adhering to the correct clearance procedure. According to TMZ, “the owners of El Gran Combo’s songs “Falsaria” and “Trampolin” say the tracks were sampled without permission on Bronson’s songs “Mofongo” and “Tapas”. The owners want Bronson to stop distribution and pay them damages“. The rapper’s tracks were featured on his Bon Appetit…B**ch! and Blue Chips mixtapes.
