Actor Johnny Duncan Dies Aged 92 | TV News
Johnny Duncan – star of the 1949 Batman and Robin serial has passed away aged 92 after suffering from an undisclosed illness. It was confirmed his family were “by his side” as he died on 8 February in his Florida home. Alongside Robert Lowery (Batman), Duncan was cast as a considerably younger Robin in fifteen cinematic installments which featured the Dynamic Duo battling the villainous Wizard.
He also starred in popular movies East Side Kicks (1940) and the 1959 sci-fi horror Plan 9 From Outer Space. His last credited appearance was a short role in the Hollywood spectacle Spartacus (1960).
