Alessia Cara’s single “Here” gained a massive amount of attention, more than she even expected, which she recently explained in an interview with Teen Vogue, saying, “It wasn’t even supposed to be a single really. We just put it out to introduce me as an artist, thinking it might get picked up by a few blogs, and it just blew up. I don’t think anyone was expecting it—it’s been awesome. We have the album pretty much done, I’ve been recording it over the last year, so we’re just finalizing everything now and will be releasing it in the fall“. The new video for “Here” recreates a party scene that inspired the creation of the song. A lot of people in the video are from the original party also creating an authentic vibe to the meaning of the song. You can watch the new video below.
