Alicia Keys has teamed up with Miguel for a new song titled “Show Me Love”. The first single from Alicia’s forthcoming seventh studio album arrives alongside a cinematic music video starring Zoe Saldana and Michael B. Jordan.
R&B/Soul legend Alicia Keys recorded “Show Me Love” with US R&B singer-songwriter Miguel and iconic guitarist and producer Raphael Saadiq. The collaboration is accompanied by a stunning music video directed by Cara Stricker and featuring Michael B. Jordan, Zoe Saldana, and her husband Marco Perego Saldana.
The beautifully filmed clip depicts three couples dancing in slow motion in three different settings. Alicia and Miguel float around a piano in a rain-soaked room; Michael struggles through a heavy downpour advancing towards a woman; and the Saldanas perform an emotional choreography in what seems to be a painter’s workshop.
The latest full-length from Alicia Keys is her 2016 LP Here. In August 2019, the singer shared her cover of Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes”. She also hosted this year’s Grammys, during which she performed an Aretha Franklin medley alongside SZA and covered songs from Lauryn Hill, Drake, Coldplay and others.
In the Meantime, Miguel released his fourth studio album War & Leisure two years ago. Earlier this year, he dropped an EP called Te Lo Dije featuring Spanish versions of five tracks from his previous record and a collaboration with Kali Uchis, “Caramelo Duro”.
