Amy Adams Comments On ‘Batman V Superman’ Negative Reception | Film News
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been greeted with a storm of negative criticism from critics, even though the film is an average feature that is the foundation of the DC Cinematic Universe. However, the cast seem to care for the opinion of the critics and doing it more for the fans, Amy Adams commenting:
“None of us are making the movies for the critics”, Adams noted. “I know we really hope the fans like it and so far the reaction has been really positive.”
This puts the Warner Bros’ DC Universe plans for the Cinematic Universe on a knife edge, the negative critical reaction placing heavy emphasis on the public coming out in support . Time will tell if that pays off.
