Amy Winehouse’s Third Album Demos Destroyed By Label Boss | Music News

It has been reported by Billboard that the demos that were recorded before Amy Winehouse’s death have been destroyed. Billboard spoke to the singer’s colleagues and friends about her life and events that happened surrounding the “Back to Black” singer’s death. According to David Joseph, who was Winehouse’s label boss at Universal UK, the demo songs for Winehouse’s third album will never see the light of day because they have been destroyed.

It was a moral thing, taking a stem or a vocal is not something that would ever happen on my watch. It now can’t happen on anyone else’s”, Joseph stated. Amy, the upcoming documentary of the life of Amy Winehouse, is due to be shown in the theatres this week, with a later release in the US. You can read more here via Billboard.
