Telemundo has officially announced the international artists to perform at this year’s Latin AMAs, the second set of performers include Anitta, Carrie Underwood, Juanes, Manuel Turizo, Pitbull, Ricky Martin, Wisin, Yandel, Ziggy Marley, Alaina Castillo, Cami, Carlos Rivera, Juhn, Mariah Angeliq, Natanael Cano, Sofía Reyes and Yendry.
While the first set of artists previously announced includes Ana Barbara, Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Camilo, Carlos Vives, David Bisbal, Eslabon Armado, Gerardo Ortiz, José Luis Rodríguez ‘El Puma’, Joss Favela, Karol G, Los Dos Carnales, Maluma, Myke Towers, Nicky Jam, Ozuna and Piso 21.
The host will be Jacqueline Bracamontes and the ceremony will air on April 15, Thursday at 7pm by Telemundo will on Universo and throughout Americas on Telemundo Internacional at the same time. The presentation will also come with a a special tribute to the late Joan ‘El Poeta del Pueblo’ Sebastian, a well known Mexican singer-songwriter.
The award ceremony will honour the most influential Latin artist in the scene right know, they will fall into 25 categories including pop, urban, tropical, regional Mexican, and the newest section added recently, favorite virtual concert.
One of the special treats of the evening are Carrie Underwood and David Bisbal, who will be performing their bilingual duet titled “Tears of Gold” for the first time on live television, as well as being nominated for the category of Favourite Video.
