Anne-Marie first entered the music scene as one of the female vocalist for Rudimental, along with the likes of Ella Eyre and Becky Hill; who all found success with the band.
Since then she has been establishing herself as a solo artist and branded herself as a ‘singer and ninja’ as she is a three-time world karate champion, and why it makes sense she titled her first EP Karate. In February she was voted number one on MTV’s annual ‘Brand New’ list, beating other artists such as WSTRN and Jack Garratt.
“Alarm” is the follow up to her previous single “Do It Right” which was released earlier this year. The video for “Alarm” is directed by Malia James and is loosely based on Shakespeare’s play Romeo & Juliet.
