Ariana Grande Joins ‘The Voice’ As A Coach | Music News

 

Pop sensation Ariana Grande has been announced as the new coach on US talent show The Voice!

 

This announcement marks Ariana’s comeback to the show after 2016’s unforgettable performance of “Into You’“.

 

Joining Blake Shelton, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande will be the 4th judge of the 21st season of The Voice replacing Nick Jonas who previously joined the show during season 18 in spring 2020 and replaced Gwen Stefani in the 20th season.

 

The news was shared on the singer’s Instagram account, where she said, “I’m so honored and excited to join The Voice family! I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists, and help to take their craft to the next level.“.

 

 

Her fellow colleague John Legend also tweeted, “So excited to welcome Ariana to our Voice family!”

 

The Voice show have seen a hand full of legendary vocalists like Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Pharell Williams, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J.Blige, Usher and many others represent as coaches on the show, with Ariana now the latest addition.

 

It seems to be quite a busy past 12 months for Ariana Grande – her 2020 critically acclaimed album Positions broke the records with most songs debuting at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

 

Her collaboration with Lady GagaRain On Me” won the Grammy Awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance a few weeks ago. On top of that, Ari has been claimed the most-streamed female musician of the past decade.
