Here it is, ladies and gents. The first piece of promotional material for the long-awaited video game adaption Assassin’s Creed. The film will be directed by Justin Kurzel, starring Michael Fassbender, who is also set to produce. It is interesting to note that these two have recently collaborated on Macbeth (2015), of which the trailer was released this week. With already buzzing reviews for this collaboration, fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise have a right to be excited for their next venture together. Fassbender has recently confirmed that the film will contain game elements, blending them with the historical nature of the games whilst also attaching new story elements and themes. Assassin’s Creed: The Movie is set for a December 2016 release.
