The original cast of Being Human entertained fans at the MCM London Comic Con and teased the crowd with talk of a restrung the the Sci-Fi series. Deespie all three of Aiden Turner, Russell Tovey and Lenora Crichlow charcters being sent to the after life, the actors still expressed hope that a special episode could hit screens sometime in the future.
Turner, now the unmistakable star of Poldark, admitted that he’s never watched his final episode of Being Human, because he found the filming of it so emotional. The reunited trio also confessed that they thought the premise of Being Human – with three supernatural creatures sharing a flat – sounded “pretty ridiculous” at first but like many mad cat ideas paid off for everyone involved.
Being Human aired for five series in total and gained a cult following from 2008 to 2013, with Turner departing in 2011, followed by Tovey and then Crichlow in 2012, the show was even transferred to America with a US version being less successful. Who knows if the show will come into fruition and if so whether it will return to BBC 3 in its new online form. No matter what there is some exciting Being Human news to look forward to over the next few months.
