Ben Affleck Claims ‘Batman v Superman’ Will NOT Be Another ‘Daredevil’ | Film News

Batman to be, Ben Affleck, has assured fans that Batman v Superman will not turn out like another Daredevil. Everyone can breath a big sigh of relief there then. With the mega-movie coming to audiences in March 2016, Affleck has been reflecting on his previous post as Marvel’s Daredevil in the 2003 20th Century Fox film. With both fans and critics panning Affleck’s previous superhero role, there was much speculation about his abilities to portray the new Batman after Christian Bale’s amazing performance in Christoper Nolan’s franchise of the famous caped crusader.

On reflection with NPR, Affleck mentions; “Indeed I have regrets about Daredevil. I have regrets about all the movies that I don’t think were executed properly… Look, if I thought we were remaking Daredevil, I’d be out there picketing myself… and that goes for other movies as well that I haven’t been happy with“. Good to hear, Affleck. Good to hear.

However, with recent hits like Argo, Runner Runner and the super hitGone Girl, which has already reached number one in the US box office, it seems like Affleck has already stepped up his game to impress. How do you feel about Affleck as Batman? Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice opens in the UK on 25 March 2016.
