Last week was the 2019 Met Gala, which surprised everyone with an unusual and funny theme, and with the Oscars not too long before, this year has been very intense for the fashion world. And now the 72th edition the Cannes Film Festival is here, with its red carpet, known for stars dressing extravagant while bringing together the leaders in film and style around the world.
Dozens of films are going to be screened, which means even more actors gracing the red carpet with hair and makeup looks we’ll be talking about for weeks and very likely emulating. Commencing last night until May 25, celebrities like Selena Gomez and Julianne Moore showed up and many more are expected as they attend the debuts of their selected films.
Elle Fanning, this year is the youngest member of the festival’s jury and will show up several looks each night. Yesterday, she wore Dior at the jury photocall to and a Gucci gown as a flowing statement piece at The Dead Don’t Die premiere, that opened the Cannes festival.
