Beyoncés ‘Formation World Tour’ hit Detroit last night, but it was her good deeds that made the headlines. According to the Detroit Free Press, Queen Bey donated a total of $82,234 to United Way of Genesee County in an effort to help the residents of Flint, Michigan dealing with the city’s current water crisis.

Beyoncé’s company Parkwood Entertainment raised the money from ticket sales as the #BeyGOOD initiative urged fans to donate when purchasing tickets for the tour way back in February. In addition, Parkwood announced that 14 Michigan students received “college gifts” to help with academic expenses.

Beyoncé joins other artists such as Jack White, Pearl Jam, Big Sean, and Meek Mill in their efforts to raise money to support Flint residents while the city recovers.
