IVY PARK is coming back! Beyoncé and Adidas have come together with a new partnership that will re-launch the musician’s IVY PARK line and deliver a new range of apparel and footwear offerings for women. And she will also co-design a mix of sportswear ranging from performance to lifestyle pieces for Adidas.
This collaboration is thought to highlight communities and creativity. It will look to the importance of women in leadership, shared ownership, empowerment and collaborations. Aiming to inspire the next generation of creatives, the collection promises to deliver inclusion and boundary-breaking sportswear that steps outside the stereotypes of athleisure apparel.
“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
Eric Liedtke, Executive Board Member of Global Brands at Adidas said of the partnership: “As the creator sports brand, adidas challenges the status quo and pushes the limits of creativity through its open source approach. Beyoncé is an iconic creator but also a proven business leader, and together, we have the ability to inspire change and empower the next generation of creators.”
Beyoncé’s active-wear Ivy Park, was originally co-founded with Topshop owner Philip Green in 2016. Upon doing so, she became one of the first black women to solely own an athleisure brand. And now she is relaunching it with a new special partnership. We can’t wait to see the collab, in the meantime checkout below some pieces of the last IVY PARK collection.
