BJ The Chicago Kid + Kendrick Lamar – The New Cupid | Music Video
BJ The Chicago Kid now comes with the music video for his track, “The New Cupid”, featuring Kendrick Lamar. This comes off his Motown Records debut album, In My Mind. It is definitely a soulful one, though the singing is slightly marred by expletives that do not really fit that well. Kendrick’s verse is also soulful, but also changes up to ride the beat expertly.
The video, directed by Matt Barnes, features comedian, Hannibal Buress, starring as Cupid. Rapper IamSu! and singer Mila J also have cameo roles. It basically sees the love lives of those in the video compromised by that mythical matchmaker getting in the way of romance.
