Director of World War Z and Quantum Of Solace, Marc Forster, has cast Gossip Girlactress Blake Lively and Dawn of The Planet of The Apes star Jason Clark, in his next movie, All I See Is You. With SC International Pictures set to produce the movie, Forster penned the script with Ray Donovan and Shameless writer, Sean Conway. Check out the official synopsis for All I See Is You below;
“All I See Is You is a unique and visually-driven psychological drama that tells the story of a blind woman (Lively) and her husband (Clarke) who upon restoration of her sight begins to discover previously unseen and disturbing details about themselves, their marriage and their lives. Set in exotic locations the story twists and turns in unexpected ways and will take you on a journey unlike any other”.
It’s a curious enough premise, with the promise of ‘unseen and disturbing details’ setting up a physiological drama with serious potential. Forster recently spoke about his feelings towards bagging for Lively and Clark for the project; “Blake is an amazing actress with a huge onscreen presence, who I know will bring enormous talent to the role, and Jason is captivating, strong and fearless in his work. It is inspiring to me as a filmmaker to get the opportunity to work with the both of them”.
Lively is an under-used talent so it will be interesting to see her in a role she can really sink her teeth into and I’m already a big fan of Clark so this news gets my initial attention! I’m excited for some potential thrills, twists and turns!
