Burberry Debuts New TB Monogram Campaign With Gigi Hadid | Fashion News

Last year, Burberry changed its creative chief and hired Riccardo Tisci, revealing a new brand logo and ‘TB’ monogram print, which stands for its founder Thomas Burberry, and today Burberry have just launched a new TB Monogram campaign starring Gigi Hadid.

Tisci previously unveiled the original print in tan and orange on Instagram, this print was the first time the luxury house had changed its look in 20 years. The monogram, designed by Peter Saville, was first seen in the run-up to Tisci’s Fall/Winter 2019 show back in February.

And for its debut collection, the TB monogram print is cast in a neutral palette of chocolate brown, chestnut brown, beige, with red stripes laid on top of the print. The new campaign, shot by Nick Knight, highlights the versatility of the collection, with Hadid portraying the characters that represent the modern Burberry consumer: the boy, the gentleman, the girl, and the lady.

The images present a cohesive capsule spanning outerwear, footwear and clothing created with the patterned ‘TB’ motif. Burberry created this pattern motif with the logo exactly, such as Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana have done before it.

Burberry’s ‘Monogram’ collection will be available on May 22 at select Burberry boutiques and online. Take a look at the campaign in the gallery below.
