Captain Cobro Shares Moving New Track ‘Missa Cerebri Lavatio In C Minor’ | Music News

Captain Cobro, a 23-year-old singer/songwriter based in a small town in Germany, has recently released a new single titled “Missa Cerebri Lavatio in C minor“. Cobro has been the bassist of a folk/pop/rock band called Cliff House for almost eight years and, throughout the years, has gone more and more into song writing and playing the guitar.

The instrumentals of “Missa Cerebri Lavatio in C minor“ are fairly basic, but the atmospheric guitar sounds, the light drum line and the powerful vocals manage to perfectly convey the message of the track.

As the artist has explained, this song has been inspired by a feeling of loneliness: “I wrote this song a few years ago. It was Halloween and I’m just not into this crap, so I decided to stay at home. Kinda weird, because I felt left alone, even though I decided to stay alone this night myself. So I wrote this song with all this loneliness inside, but forgot about it as the time went by”.

Beside loneliness, a central theme is also the pain caused by loved ones’ loss: “Just a few weeks ago my grandma died and I had this same feeling of loneliness again. I put my guitar on and this was the song flowing out of me. On that day I started recording this piece of music at my friend’s home studio”.

It is not by chance, then, that the song was released on October 31 this year, precisely three years after its original conception.
