Caribou Debuts ‘The Longest Mixtape’ | New Music
Daniel Victor Snaith, better known as Canadian composer/musician Caribou, has shared a mixtape on YouTube in the vein of a shuffled playlist on one of the original iPods. Combining his favorite types of music and musicians to create his ideal radio, Snaith gives us an incredible 1000-song mixtape, which he instructs should be played on shuffle, which includes genres such as soul, electronic, hip hop, jazz, indie rock, jungle, etc. Caribou wants to give us a sense of his musical influences beginning with some of his favorites as a teen. More good news – once the playlist is started, the only advertisement is on the first song! Take a listen below.
