‘Central Intelligence’: Hart And Johnson At Their Best | Film Review

Central Intelligence

Central Intelligence is a 2016 action comedy starring Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson. The film has been promoted with the tagline “Saving the world takes a little Hart and a big Johnson” and it was directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber known for We’re The Millers.

A synopsis for Central Intelligence reads: “After he reconnects with an awkward pal from high school through Facebook, a mild-mannered accountant is lured into the world of international espionage”.

I didn’t know what to expect when I went to see this film. I mean, I knew Kevin Hart is a good comedian, but I didn’t believe Dwayne Johnson was going to be so funny. The acting of the two actors was top class and their chemistry is undeniable. There are a lot of funny moments and some nice cameos of two other comedians (won’t mention their names in order not to spoil it for you).

I liked this movie because it showed the friendship and bond that formed between two high school students. The plot and the way the action develops make sense, plus on the whole the movie is easy to follow . If I were to give a mark to this film it would be an 8 out of 10. It will surely make you laugh uncontrollably and I  can honestly say that this movie is one not to be missed out, especially if you are a Kevin Hart fan.
