Chance The Rapper To Appear On ‘Saturday Night Live’ As Host And Guest | Music News

Chance The Rapper is set to return to Saturday Night Live later this month. He will serve both as a musical guest and the host of the show, joining the likes of Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears and other stars before him.

The American rapper first performed on SNL in December 2015 and reappeared as the show’s host almost one year later. Now, the musician is once again headed to SNL for his pre-Halloween show on October 26. Chance The Rapper announced the news on Instagram, pointing out he would be the 27th person to fulfil the double role of the host and performer.

Earlier this week, the rapper dropped a brand-new music video for the track “We Go High” taken from his debut studio album The Big Day released in July this year. The song featuring vocals from Mike Servin is about Chance’s relationship with his wife Kirstin.

In the beginning of 2020, Chance The Rapper will also be heading on his The Big Day Tour in support of his latest record. Back in September, the artist revealed he would be postponing his shows, originally planned for 2019, with the rescheduled dates due to kick off on January 15 in San Diego.
