Last year, Chief Keef was dropped from his previous label Interscope. It has now recently been reported that his contract with billionaire Alki David’s company FilmOn has been now been suspended.

In a statement to VladTV (via Fader), David cited disagreements with Keef’s management.

“…His management went off and did a tour without our approval,” David said. “Not happy with the direction they are taking him.” He argues that his management are “limiting his appeal to a wider audience.”

David added, “I don’t blame Keith—I blame his shady management—Keith is a fucking rap superstar.”

He also was angry over Keef’s “Let It Blow” video with D. Flores as Flores was arrested for allegedly kidnapping a 15-year-old girl and forcing her into prostitution.
