Christophe Lemaire Departs Hermes On A Highnote | Fashion News

There are bold signature traits developing at Hermes for their Spring/Summer 2015 collection, unfortunately this is the last collection Christophe Lemaire will be designing for Hermes. As Christophe leaves to focus on his own brand, Nadege Vanhee-Cybulski has been appointed to take over at the helm of Hermes from next season.

The french brand debuted their spring ready to wear collection at the just concluded Paris Fashion Week. The 33 looks oozed sophistication; a collection clearly not aimed at youth maintained a strong influence of desert oasis. There were no short skirts, no sexy necklines, instead there were sweeping silhouettes with sleek tailoring. There were no distractions from the futuristic designs, the sandy colours with subtle hints of ochre, black and mustard showcased Christophe’s elegant masterpiece.

Hermes presented the looks with minimal styling, the model walked with ease in either loafers or sandal and bare, soft makeup. This may be the last collection that Christophe Lemaire designs for Hermes, but it’s with delicious taste, that has left us wanting more. We cannot wait to see what’s next for Lamire and Hermes.
