Clint Eastwood’s ‘The Mule’ Begins Production | Film News

Upcoming drama The Mule from Warner Bros. Pictures and Imperative Entertainment has officially started production in Atlanta, with Oscar-winner Clint Eastwood both behind and in front of the camera for the first time since his 2009’s critically acclaimed Gran Torino.

The 88-year-old movie legend will star as elderly drug mule Earl Stone, alongside his daughter Alison Eastwood, fellow actors Bradley Cooper and Laurence Fishburne, as well as new cast members Michael Peña and Dianne Wiest.

The Mule marks the return onscreen of veteran Hollywood star Eastwood since his role in 2012’s Trouble With the Curve. Based on a screenplay by Nick Schenkhe, the drama will shoot mainly in US production hubs Georgia and New Mexico. We look forward to seeing the result.
