Conor Marcus is only fourteen, but he has already made his first steps in the music path that will certainly bring him far. In fact, he started to show an interest in music at a very early age which consented him to learn fastly, how to play piano, violin and guitar. This strong passion was making itself heard, so that it led him to write his first song at only nine.
Since then, he has never stopped going, and it is possible to feel his precocious talent through his latest single “Looking Down On Me”. He has written the lyrics that suit perfectly with his young voice accompanied by a quite guitar, followed by a secure drums. Moreover, he has chosen to write about a delicate and deep topic which is unique to hear from such a young singer.
As he has revealed about the song: “A lot of my songs are about things I see happening in other people’s lives and I put myself in their shoes“, and then he explained: “I wrote this song after my friend’s dad took his own life and I imagined what that would be like if it happened to me“.
Connor released his fist EP Maybe Sometime Soon in March 2019, has been played on BBC Radio as part of BBC Introducing and was a semi-finalist on The Voice Kids UK 2019. Guided by his passion of playing live, he has even had the opportunity to ride the stages of a few outdoor festivals. This is just the beginning and his career certainly won’t end there.
