In 2005, Christopher Owens started his musician career in San Francisco, with a band called Curls. Subsequently, when it broke up, he was the Girls frontman until 2012. After years of a solo career, last December he announced his new band which bears the same name as his first band.
The band is composed by Owens, who sings, plays the guitar and the piano, Cody Rhodes, who plays drums and percussion, and Luke Baće on bass. Yesterday, they announced their debut EP Vante, which will be unveiled on November, 7 via Urban Scandal Records. They have also shared a new garage-rocker single titled “Emotion“. Listen to it below.
