Dan Vinci’s ‘The Dandadda’ @ Brixton Jamm – Saturday, April 26 | Events

What is The Dandadda I hear you ask? Well To sum up, The Dandadda is a movement that is spreading rapidly, and there is no wonder as to why! The creator and founder Dan Vinci is an exceedingly impressive producer and engineer (if you didn’t know already) and he has worked with the likes of Basement Jaxx, Example, Misha B, Florence and the Machine, Jessie Ware, Flo Rida and many more, and on April 26, he is putting on a intimate night at Brixton Jamm to celebrate the launch of his debut EP The Dandadda.

This event will be starting from 7pm and there will be special guests Ragga Twins who will be performing an hour long set to get you into the swing of things and ready for the main event. There will also be guest DJs mixing up the hottest beats throughout the evening.

Dan Vinci has formed his own unique genre of music by using his incredibly eclectic palate, that can only be described as a cultural clashed “bass hop rasta rock”. The modern electronic synths meet the heavy bassline soaked tracks to make The Dandadda, unique in its blend of Electronic Drum ‘n’ Bass, Dubstep, Hip-Hop, Rock, Blues and Reggae sounds.

Vinci’s 6-man band is fronted by a variety of Reggae vocalists and features heavyweight artists such as The Ragga Twins, Horace Andy, John Holt, Junior Dan, Earl 16, Norman Grant (Twinkle Brothers) and more. This evening features this incredible live band playing alongside a high end visual masterpiece from animations extraordinaire Nick Savy, whose work credits include Batman Begins, Gorillaz, David Guetta’s live shows and Harry Potter.

Expect nothing but a highly energetic and entertaining night of music, live visual animation and hard core ravers all in one room. If you are over 18 and want to be a part of The Dandadda experience, you can get yourself a ticket here. You can preview the sounds of The Dandadda here.
