‘Dante’s Inferno’ Script Picked Up By Warner Bros. | Film News

 

It has been reported that Warner Bros. Studios have picked up the feature pitch for a big screen adaptation of the epic poem Inferno by Dante Alighieri. The poem is part of Alighieri’s legendary three-part poem The Divine Comedy which sees a fictionalized Dante pass through Hell, Purgatory, and finally Heaven. Current reports state the film will be a love story and will see Dante go on a quest to save his love, Beatrice and that Warner Bros. are excited at the potential for a franchise. Walking the Dead (2010) writer Dwain Worrell has been attached the film.
