On July 10, exactly six months after David Bowie’s death, he would’ve become grandfather. His son, Duncan Jones, announced the birth of their first child via Twitter: “Stenton David Jones. Born July 10th, exactly six months after his grandad made room for him. Love you both so”. He attached a picture of a cartoon of Bowie, him and his newborn baby with speech bubbles.
Jones is a filmmaker who made several successful films. For example Moon, Source Code and his newest film, Warcraft, which was released last June. His wife, Rodene Ronquillo, beat cancer in October 2013 – just six months before Bowie was diagnosed with the deadly disease.
